We JIPMERites proudly present to you the 26th edition of our annual carnival, Spandan. Get ready for an extravaganza like never before; 5 days of gaiety and rivalry amidst the exhibition of talents galore. Viva la Pondicherry ! Viva la Spandan !

Spandan is the annual inter-collegiate cultural, literary and sports festival of JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) conducted by Jipmer Students' Association (JSA). JIPMER, a medical institute of repute and renown is situated in the coastal town of Pondicherry. Each year more than 5000 students from all over the country come and revel in the glory of Spandan. So, come and flaunt the talents you have or simply bask in the revelry of exciting events and mind-blowing professional shows-Immerse yourself.

Mascot-

The mascot for our Spandan is Scuba-boy who will be your partner as we take you on a journey under the Sea to a place of breath-taking beauty of nature with the shadows of adventure and mystery lurking around. So pick up your masks, put on your flippers, hurl that O2 cylinder down your back and immerse yourself…
